This is an exciting opportunity for a driven finance professional with experience in the Real Estate, Construction, Property Investment, Housebuilding, or related industries. The Role

As Financial Controller, you will:

Lead the preparation of accurate financial statements in line with regulations and standards.
Oversee the accounts payable function, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in supplier payments.
Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and strategic opportunities.
Develop and maintain robust financial management systems for enhanced reporting.
Partner with key stakeholders across the business, providing actionable financial insights.
Prepare budgets and forecasts, monitoring performance against targets.
Ensure data integrity through regular audits and reconciliations.
Manage relationships with external auditors, ensuring seamless audit processes.

Experience and Qualifications

We’re looking for a candidate with:

Proven experience as a Financial Controller or in a similar senior finance role.
A professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ACA).
A track record in the Real Estate, Construction, Property Investment, or Housebuilding sectors.
Strong proficiency with accounting software (e.g., Xero, Sage, QuickBooks).
Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
The ability to communicate financial information effectively to non-financial stakeholders.
Experience in team management and fostering a collaborative environment.
