Finance Manager

The Role

We are supporting a fantastic local charity in their search for a new Finance Manager to join them on a permanent, or temp to perm basis.
This is an office based role in Sunderland, working within a small team and running the day to day Finance Team. 
Duties will cover the following areas of responsibility:

  • Month end duties including accruals, prepayments, journal entry etc. 
  • Preparation of management accounts pack
  • Providing detailed analysis and commentary
  • Staff management - small team of two
  • Handling day to day Finance operations

About You

This role is suited to an experienced Management Accountant, who is happy to get stuck and supporting with day to day Finance operations. 

  • Qualified by experience, AAT Qualified or Part Qualified CA
  • Competent Management Accountant, comfortable preparing full sets of Monthly Management Accounts 
  • Comfortable being hands on and supporting with ledger work/finance admin where required 
  • Understanding of Payroll beneficial 
  • Good people management skills and experience
