The Role


Nigel Wright are delighted to be supporting a well-respected charity in Gateshead with their search for a Finance Officer.

Role Overview

  • Financial compliance & reporting
  • Payroll processing & accounts management
  • Property financial oversight

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare financial reports & conduct bank reconciliations
  • Process invoices, payments & payroll
  • Ensure VAT & financial compliance
  • Manage rental income & property finances

 

The Person

Requirements

  • Experience in finance, payroll & reporting
  • Strong numerical & analytical skills
  • Proficiency in Sage 50 & MS Office
  • AAT Level 2 (or equivalent) or relevant experience

DBS check required.
