We’re on the lookout for a Finance Assistant to join a vibrant team on a fixed-term contract (15 months). If you’re ready to dive into the world of financial planning and analysis, this role is perfect for you!

You will be supporting the finance business partners with budgeting and planning, making decisions and telling a story through numbers. 
 

What You’ll Do:

• Collaborate & Analyze: Work closely with finance and operational colleagues to tackle issues affecting financial and business performance.
• Financial Modelling: Support decision-making with top-notch financial modelling and analysis.
• Reporting: Help produce monthly finance reports, including variance analysis, and ensure they’re easily understood by non-finance colleagues.
• Budgeting & Planning: Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning processes.
• Project Work: Get involved in exciting projects such as cost management. 

What You’ll Bring:

• A passion for numbers.
• Proven experience as an analyst within a finance team.
• Strong commercial insight and adept problem-solving abilities.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Highly analytical with keen attention to detail.
• Proficient in handling large data sets and tech-savvy.
• Motivated to enhance skills and adapt to new challenges.
• Currently pursuing or having completed a professional accounting qualification, such as AAT.
