The Role
Nigel Wright are delighted to be supporting a professional business in Newcastle upon Tyne with their search for an Executive Assistant to support their senior leadership team.
The role involves diary management, travel and meeting coordination, document preparation, and general office support. The position requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Diary Management:
Proactively manage the executive’s calendar, scheduling meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements.
Meeting Coordination:
Organise and prepare for meetings, including drafting agendas, taking minutes, and following up on action points.
Communication:
Act as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, handling queries and correspondence efficiently.
Travel Management:
Arrange national and international travel, including accommodation, transport, and itineraries.
Document Management:
Prepare, edit, and review documents, reports, and presentations as required.
Event Planning:
Assist in the planning and execution of events, meetings, and conferences.
Confidentiality:
Handle sensitive information with the highest level of discretion and professionalism.
Office Administration:
Manage office supplies, IT equipment, and other resources as needed to ensure a well-functioning office environment.
Project Support:
Assist with specific business projects, carrying out research and administrative tasks as required.
The Person
Skills/Attributes:
- Tech Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and familiarity with digital tools like Zoom, Teams, or Slack.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication, with a professional and confident demeanor.
- Organisational Skills: Ability to manage multiple priorities, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines.
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail, with the ability to anticipate needs and prioritise effectively.
