The Company
Nigel Wright Tech are delighted to be working with a North East based FMCG business in their search for a Business Intelligence Developer.
Please note - this position will be office based
The Role
Joining a team of four you will be responsible for database management as well as creating complex queries to extract data for Power BI visualisation. Key responsibilities include:
- Design, develop and maintain SQL databases and data integration solutions to meet business requirements
- Analyse and optimise SQL queries and stored procedures to improve performance and efficiency
- Work closely with business analysts, developers and stakeholders to deliver data solutions that support business objectives
- Develop and maintain reports using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and visualise data through Power BI to provide insight on trends and opportunities
The Requirements
Key requirements include:
- Proficiency in SQL with strong knowledge of T-SQL, including writing complex queries, stored procedures and functions
- Experience with SSRS and SSIS
- Familiarity with database design principles
- Ability to deliver data insights via Power BI or similar visualisation tools
