Our client
Astoriom are a multi-national private equity backed business currently embarking on a period of growth, through a series of recent acquisitions and rapid organic growth opportunities. With existing sites in Ireland, USA, Nottingham and a head office at their largest site in Rochdale.
They are keen to appoint an experienced QA Manager to lead the development of a truly global quality management system to support their ambitious 5-year growth plan.
The opportunity
As QA Manager, you will play a crucial and proactive role in the Senior Management Team as Astoriom to continue to support the development of a world class head office. This is an exciting opportunity to operate strategically to development a QA function to meet the future needs of such a high growth ambitious business.
You will also continue to review the existing QA systems whilst working closely with QA Leads on site, you will look to continue to embed the quality management systems across all sites. As well as looking to continue to optimise systems and processes to maximise efficiency to embed a continuous improvement approach to QMS including the ongoing development of effective global SOP’s.
This opportunity offers scope for hybrid working, with 3 days per week based in the Head Office in Rochdale.
About you
As an experienced QA Manager, you will have considerable experience of the complexities of cGMP compliance in either a high growth or rapidly changing business.
With well-developed communication skills you will demonstrate the ability to build relationships throughout the organisation and with remote QA leads. Your ability to inspire, motivate, challenge and influence will enable you to continue to raise the profile of QA throughout the organisation. Your ability to translate complex QA issues into plain English effectively is more important that a scientific qualification.
With a pro-active minded you will be able to translate Astoriom’s business growth strategy and be able to anticipate the implications/risks to QA and pro-actively identify opportunity for improvement to ensure that QA continues to move forwards and meet the business needs whilst ensure absolute confidence to customers.
