Accounts Payable Assistant
Nigel Wright are proudly working with an established business in Middlesbrough seeking an Accounts Payable Assistant on an initial 6- Month Contract. This role offers good hybrid working arrangements and will suit candidates available on short notice.
The Role
Your day to day duties in this role will include:
• Process supplier and intercompany invoices
• Review and check invoices
• Investigate and deal with queries from internal and external customers
• Supplier statement reconciliations
• Work alongside other teams to clear invoices
• Answering emails from own and shared email boxes
• Confirmation of bank details for new and existing suppliers
• Adhoc duties: reporting, answering phone calls and other duties as directed by manager
The Candidate
Ideally, you will possess the following skills/experience:
• Minimum 2 years in a purchase ledger/ accounts payable role.
• Highly Organised
• Attention to Detail
• Ability to Use Own initiative.
• Competent in all Microsoft packages with particular emphasis on Excel (Vlookup, Pivot Tables)
• Ability to think analytically, to problem solve and have good attention to detail.
