Nigel Wright is delighted to be supporting a market leading manufacturer of consumable products into specialist wholesalers,  as they looked to recruit a field sales executive to retain and develop sales with existing customers across the UK & Ireland.

Role

Reporting into the account director, you will act as a crucial liaison between the company and  customers. Your primary focus will be on prioritising customer satisfaction, promoting new products and services, maintaining and developing sales, and fostering positive relationships.

Key Responsibilities:
•    Monitor, manage, and achieve sales targets.
•    Regularly visit and contact customers to identify and address specific needs.
•    Develop and maintain relationships with customers to ensure long-term success.
•    Deliver company-specific programs and initiatives.
•    Act as the liaison between customers and internal teams, ensuring customer requirements are met.
•    Ensure brand consistency and adherence.
•    Collect and analyse sales data, market trends, and competitor activities.
•    Maintain high customer satisfaction ratings.
•    Share progress updates with the customer base as required.
•    Partner with marketing to create and deliver territory-specific plans and materials.
•    Liaise with the Product Development Manager to identify new product opportunities.
•    Help customers keep their websites updated with the correct product images and trademarked product descriptions.


 

Experience

•    Proven work experience and highly skilled as a Sales representative, 
•    The ability to follow up on warm and cold leads. 
•    Proven examples of working with customers to achieve sales growth.
•    A solid understanding of brand and how to protect and leverage. 
•    Solid experience in sales and customer service.
•    In-depth understanding of sales performance metrics.
•    Hands on experience with CRM software and MS Excel.
•    Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
•    Strong communication skills.
•    The ability to create, deliver and be accountable for territory and customer plans.
•    Ability to travel nationally and stay overnight.
•    UK driving license.
