The North East’s largest multi-discipline recruiter, which is also Europe’s number one consumer sector search firm, had its new offices in Wynyard Business Park formally opened by Tees Valley Mayor, Ben Houchen, this week.
Nigel Wright has been serving the region for over 30 years, from its headquarters in Newcastle. In April 2015 the company established a base in Teesside to help businesses across the Tees Valley recruit great talent. Growth there has accelerated over the last two years – both through permanent and interim positions – whereby Nigel Wright outgrew its 10-person office.
With the help of Mr Houchen, the business was delighted to open its new office on the building's top floor. Nigel Wright is already hiring more recruitment consultants to support growing demand for its services. The new office – more than double the size of the previous space – has room for 25 consultants, as well as three meeting rooms for clients and candidates.
Mayor, Ben Houchen, commented:
"It was a real pleasure opening the new offices for Nigel Wright. It’s great to see them going from strength-to-strength by working hand in hand with organisations and businesses across the Tees Valley. By helping local firms attract and retain high-quality staff they have helped local businesses grow, boosting the local economy in the process.”
Nigel Wright’s CEO, Paul Wilson, added:
"The Nigel Wright team is passionate about the future of Tees Valley. Our growth is not possible without the continued commitment and success of organisations based in this fantastic region. We’re actively seeking to hire more recruitment consultants here in Teesside to keep up with client demand. Unemployment remains at a record low and skills shortages persist. So, now more than ever, we are here to help organisations uncover great new employees.”
