As part of the senior leadership team within Nigel Wright Recruitment, Sue has responsibility for two specialist recruitment teams within IT and HR who recruit for clients throughout the North of England.

Sue joined Nigel Wright in 2002 and was initially responsible for building the IT recruitment team. Since joining Nigel Wright, Sue has also helped establish and launch the IT contract and wider interim recruitment offering, before joining the senior management team in 2010. Sue has specific responsibility for growing the IT & HR recruitment business and is personally responsible for delivering recruitment assignments for Senior IT & HR management posts in the North of the UK. She also has engagement partner responsibility for several key accounts.

Sue continues to chair and organise the Nigel Wright IT Director Forum which has now been in existence since 2005 and she is heavily involved in our HR Business Leaders’ Forum. As invitation only forums, they give specialist business leaders the opportunity to build strong and collaborative bonds with like-minded executives in the region.

Sue has worked in multiple disciplines and in IT recruitment for 20 years. She has significant experience in finance recruitment as well as being involved in managing executive HR assignments. She developed and managed a large temporary commercial workforce of up to 160 weekly paid temporary staff for a national recruitment agency. Sue started her business career in retail management where she was a Store Manager.
