In order to portray a real representation of the culture here at Nigel Wright, we asked some of our Recruitment Consultants to answer a series of questions about their careers and about working at Nigel Wright. Our newly promoted Sales & Marketing Senior Recruitment Consultant Charlie Boci shares how he found our interview process, how Nigel Wright has helped with his career development, his next career goal and the advice he would give to anyone considering joining our team.
How did you find the recruitment/interview process before being offered the job at Nigel Wright?
The interview process at Nigel Wright is rigorous and challenging but I came away from it knowing Nigel Wright was exactly the right company for me. The interviews allow you to get a really in depth understanding of the business, your colleagues and what it will be like to work there.
It isn’t for someone looking for a quick fix though. The interview process is lengthy and requires thorough preparation to do well. Personally, I found it to be a testing but rewarding experience. I learnt a lot and enjoyed being put under pressure. When I found out I had got the job I was absolutely over the moon and eager to start.
How has Nigel Wright helped you in your career development?
I have been fortunate to join a business full of supportive colleagues who are devoted to my professional development. There’s all the infrastructure in place to succeed at Nigel Wright and it’s a matter of taking all the opportunities on offer and working hard.
My team and my manager, Erica Tucker have gone above and beyond to support me in achieving my career goals and aspirations. Allowing me to achieve my promotion to Senior Consultant within 14 months of beginning my career.
What’s your next career goal?
Having been recently promoted my goal currently is to continue my hard work and develop my market. Longer term I would love to continue to gain responsibility at Nigel Wright and I understand the level of hard work and dedication needed to get there.
What I can say without hesitation is that I really look forward to furthering my career at Nigel Wright and I’m genuinely excited by my future here.
