Bel Nordic’s head office is in Helsingborg where they have functions within Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain and Finance. The company is now looking to hire a Key Account Manager for the Swedish market.

The role

Bel is seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Key Account Manager to join their Nordic team, and report to the Nordic Head of Sales. As a Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing all Swedish key accounts while also holding profit and loss responsibility for these accounts.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to maximize sales and profitability for Swedish retail key accounts.
  • Build strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders at the accounts, including buyers and category managers.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for all account-related activities, ensuring effective communication and collaboration between Bel and the key accounts.
  • Analyse market trends, consumer behaviour, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities and potential risks.
  • Develop and execute account-specific business plans, including sales forecasts, promotional strategies, and pricing negotiations.
  • Monitor and manage account performance against KPIs such as revenue, market share, and profitability.
  • Conduct regular business reviews with key accounts and recommend strategic initiatives to drive mutual growth and success.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams such as sales, marketing, supply chain, and finance to ensure seamless execution of account strategies and initiatives.
  • Continue the strong relationship with 3rd party Sales Force, ensuring that Bel is top of mind with Sales reps to maximise instore visibility and display sales.

Your profile

  • Proven experience as a Key Account Manager within the FMCG industry, with a strong track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • In-depth understanding of key account management principles, including P&L responsibility and financial analysis.
  • Good communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven mindset.
  • Driven, entrepreneurial, proactive and results oriented. Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
