About the role:

Are you looking for a career role where you are in a key position to ensure that we deliver results and grow our business? We are now looking for an experienced and commercially-minded Senior Finance Business Partner to support our business and our growth journey.

We give you the chance to influence Solera's growth and success. You will be responsible for ensuring that the business controller functions support the business in executing our strategy, and that they are able to cope with an ever-changing environment. You will actively participate in the management team of each commercial business unit, while in the finance team you will act as a specialist in the business controlling perspective. You will have the opportunity to develop our budgeting, forecasting and monitoring processes and will also be involved in different development projects at company level.

What you will do:

You will play your part in ensuring that our financial targets are met: you will support business decisions by actively adding value through financial figures, analysis and business insight as well as supporting and actively developing core business processes. At the same time, you keep an eye on the future and steer our approach towards a more diversified use of technology.

You support commercial decisions by adding value to decision-making situations through numeric analysis.  For example:

  • Analysis of existing product portfolio from a strategic and cost/profit perspective. Suggestions for optimization
  • Contribute with business cases and product calculations when launching new products and investment projects
  • Drive/develop simulation models for use in contract negotiations in close cooperation with business stakeholders
  • Support business in building (P&L) plans and act as a sparring partner by giving recommendations but also challenging business input in e. g planning pricing, innovation and mix

You will also be independently responsible for the planning and budgeting process of your areas of responsibilities. You'll report to the CFO and be based at our head office in Östermalm, but you'll have the flexibility to work remotely - now and in the future.

Who you are:

We are looking for someone whose toolkit includes the ability to think analytically and strategically, and who approaches challenges with enthusiasm and a solution-oriented approach. We expect you to have several years of business controlling or consultancy experience preferably from FMCG. You have good understanding of how FMCG businesses operate, and you can make informed decisions and recommendations that are aligned with strategy and organizational targets.

To be successful in your role and to enjoy your time with us, we hope you will recognize these qualities in yourself:

  • You have excellent interpersonal skills - you are skilled influencing and getting through ideas in the organization at all levels and you recognize the different needs of your stakeholders
  • You have a business-oriented approach and experience of working on projects
  • You are motivated by challenges and thirsty to learn new things. You want to achieve results
  • You constantly see opportunities around you - we say you have a glass half full
  • Your educational background may include an M.Sc. in Economics or other relevant academic degree, preferably master’s degree
  • You work fluently in both Swedish and English

We appreciate the entrepreneurial way of working, the breakthrough attitude and the courage to innovate and develop our business. With us, you get to work in a start-up spirit, but with the setting and support provided by the big group. Initiative and decision-making ability guide your work.
