Solera Sweden imports and sells wines, spirits, beers and other alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to the Swedish market and has the ambition of becoming the leading multi-beverage company and the preferred choice for consumers, customers, employees, owners and partners. The Wine business is one of Solera’s drivers of strategic growth, with strong growth expected in the future. The aim is to grow profitable and sustainable wine business both at Systembolaget and in On Trade. To support that journey and to manage some of most resent acquired business, Solera Sweden is looking for a new Wine Business Manager.
The Wine Business Manager has a crucial part of the marketing function of the company, and will through developing the business with the selected portfolio of wine producer, have a significant impact on the overall targets of Solera Sweden.

The role

The wine business is one of Solera’s drivers of strategic growth with strong growth expected in the future. The Wine Business Manager role supports the success of the wine strategy. The aim is to grow profitable and sustainable wine business both at Systembolaget and in On Trade. Business orientation, market and consumer understanding will steer the work of the Wine Business Manager but gathering and using wine knowledge is also an important criteria to succeed in the role.

You will:

  • Take responsibility for developing the business of allocated partners in accordance with the strategy.
  • Have Systembolaget PC responsibility for own portfolio and possible other channels.
  • Build and execute comprehensive brand plans, including pricing, innovation & communications.
  • Take responsibility for representing the producers’ products in relation to the tendering process to Systembolaget.
  • Be the primary contact of own partners & responsible for negotiating purchase prices and A&P budget.
  • Introduce new products from the portfolio to the On Trade Portfolio Manager and product mapping from your own portfolio on the On Trade Portfolio Managers requests.
  • Ensure that long and short term forecasting is provided to the partners.
  • Launch and build distribution of new products towards Systembolaget, primarily.
  • Take responsibility for all consumer communication and possible event marketing of the responsible partner brands.

Your profile

  • Entrepreneurial attitude, curiousness to try new things and willingness to take calculated risks.
  • Analytical skills. Seeing patterns in data and acting on them.
  • Excellent commercial understanding of the development of the wine business.
  • Willingness to grow the business rather than maintaining it.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Passion for developing partner business and brands.
  • Excellent influencing and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain partner relationships.


  • Educational background in Business, Strategy or Marketing.
  • Experience in managing big brands with high A&P budgets, big volumes & important PC.
  • Experience from the Wine, Beer or Spirits business in an advantage but not a requirement.
  • Fluent in Swedish and English.
