As Operations Manager, you will report to the General Manager Nordics with a dotted line to the VP Supply Chain EMEA. Managing a team of 20+ employees you will moreover be part of the Nordic Management committee.

The role

This is a great opportunity to manage the Nordic Operations team and make a real difference to the overall performance of the business by leading the teams of: Demand- & Inventory Planning, Distribution, Customer Service, Consumer Satisfaction, Compliance and Sustainability. You will be setting the overall strategy of the department and make sure everyone work together as one team ensuring cooperation with the local organization as well as the different corporate teams. You will:

  • Be accountable for the S&OP process, maximizing product availability while minimizing inventory levels and SLOBS.
  • Define & optimize the distribution network ensuring ideal cost for optimal service taking into account sustainability aspects.
  • Create a customer and consumer satisfaction driven organization by ensuring high Service Levels and actively enhancing customer collaboration via KPI exchange and project work.
  • Ensure successful collaboration with our Local Service Providers both at strategic and operational level.
  • Lead and/or support cross functional improvement projects within the Nordic Organization.
  • Drive Supply Chain initiatives in the context of digitalization and sustainability while anticipating, capturing & implementing relevant Supply Chain trends.

Required experiences

  • 10+ years of work experience with solid experience from Supply Chain
  • Master’s Degree (or comparable)
  • Strong leadership & people management skills
  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills
  • Solid decision-making skills
  • Results and customer focused
  • Very good analytical skills and the ability to prioritize short and long-term goals
  • Commercial & Business awareness
  • Team player with a LEAN mindset seeing opportunities rather than problems
  • Fluent in English
  • Earlier experience from working with SAP and,
  • Experiences from working with FMCG is an advantage
