Solera Sweden consists of Primewine, Modowine, Solera Spirits & Beer, Multibev and Solera Travel Retail that import and sell wines, spirits, beers and other alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to the market.
During the next years, Solera Sweden will go through a transformation and grow within all business units and functions and expand the organization. An important step towards that ambition is to strengthen the Swedish management team with a Supply Chain Director.
As Supply Chain Director, you will have a crucial role in the growth journey by building and supporting the business, as well as taking an important part in the management team and the strategic planning.

The role

This is a great opportunity for someone who want to manage the entire Supply Chain function and set the standard for Solera Sweden when it comes to roles and ways of working. You will lead and develop the Supply Chain team and have the main responsibility of making sure that the logistics operations are carried out efficiently. You will:

  • Build and develop a best-in-class supply chain function and team
  • Ensure that the logistics operations are carried out effectively and efficiently
  • Ensure that storage and transit are optimal and efficient
  • Implementation/transition into new operating model (warehouse/3PLs) and implementation of supplier performance management
  • Successful transition to new ERP system (SAP)
  • Implement own inbound logistics process/controls (prev. 4PL solution), possibly with support from Group Procurement Logistics category
  • Review and investigate distribution & logistic services to maximize efficiency in terms of delivery time and develop alternatives where necessary
  • Coordinate with third-party/logistics service providers and warehouses to meet strategic & cost control requirements and continues review of services
  • Standardize logistics processes, developing and ensuring implementation of best practices to drive efficiency, reduce cost, and improve service
  • Partner with finance to manage and report on all costs associated with logistics and develop strategies to mitigate the financial impact as needed
  • Develop and utilize KPIs, metrics and periodic reporting to help drive execution
  • Participate in the preparation of strategies and initiatives that ensure that Solera Sweden develops and strengthens its position in the journey to becoming the leading player in the Swedish beverage market

Your profile

  • Strong leadership skills with a can-do attitude and hands-on approach
  • Proven ability to negotiate with external partners and supplies to achieve agreements that benefit the company
  • Ability to manage day-to-day operations, and multiple cross-functional projects simultaneously and determine priorities
  • Ability to see opportunities and solutions instead of problems
  • Ability to identify areas for development and actively + independently launch projects to improve them
  • Demonstrated ability to utilize data and metrics to drive decision-making and optimization
  • High degree of communication skills with the ability to influence key stakeholders, internally and externally


  • Ideally 8+ years of experience in managing logistics-/supply chain functions
  • Master’s Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering or other fields related to logistics
  • Fluent in Swedish and English, both verbally and written
  • Experienced operating in an international environment, preferably from a FMCG company or consulting experience or similar
  • Experience of business in an accelerated growth phase is preferred
