Fontana Food AB is a family-owned company that, since its start in 1978, has been an ambassador for Greek and Mediterranean cuisine and offered its products on the Swedish market. The founder Frixos Papadopoulos and his family are still active in the company.

The classic Halloumi cheese has been around since the 80s, when Fontana was the first company to bring this product to the Swedish market. These days it is loved and recognized by people in the entire country.

Fontana has ambitious plans for sustainable growth and is seeking to add an Export Sales & Private Label Manager to the team, who will be based at the company’s HQ in Tyresö.

About the role:


As the new Export Sales & Private Label Manager at Fontana, you will play a central role in expanding and developing Fontana’s business in the international markets. You will also be responsible for managing the Private label portfolio, focusing on seizing new business opportunities on a local and global scale. You will join the Sales team and report to the Head of Sales.

Responsibilities:
 

  • Analyse and identify opportunities for growth in new channels- and markets, both in Sweden and on the international market
  • Establish processes and structures, enabling a more efficient approach to new business opportunities
  • Processing and find new business in the private label segment
  • Manage the relationships with new and existing clients and suppliers
  • Analyse and act on consumer- and market trends to play an essential role in Fontana´s product development team
  • Collaborate with the Marketing department for the creation of relevant and effective marketing material and promotions for the defined channels
  • Collaborate with the Purchasing- and Supply Chain department, ensuring optimal route to market strategies
  • Budgeting and forecasting within the business area

You have a genuine interest in food and have a flair for creating long term business relationships in an ever-changing marketplace. As a person, you focus on finding solutions and enjoy identifying and pursuing new business opportunities. You are hands on and thrive in a teamwork environment to realise your full potential. Since the role requires contacts with clients- and suppliers worldwide, you have a flexible view on working hours.

Additional requirements:
 

  • +5 years of managing Clients and/or Suppliers in an international context within the FMCG industry, preferably food and drinks
  • Experience of managing private label products from the Client- and/or Supplier side
  • A structured approach to work and an ability to improve processes while not getting stuck in the details
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Fluent in Swedish and English and any additional language(s) is an advantage
  • Higher vocational studies from a relevant field of study
  • Having a possibility of travelling when required and the situation allows it
