Scandza is a fast-growing player within the Scandinavian FMCG space, with total revenues of 5 bn SEK  generated from a portfolio of iconic brands. Scandza is strong in core categories, and is well positioned to  continue growing organically and through M&A.

Scandza is now looking for a Financial Controller to join their team and be responsible for the finance function in Sweden. Scandza have factories in Gothenburg and Strömsnäsbruk/Markaryd and an office in Helsingborg it’s important that you can be on-site at all three locations, especially the factories.

The Role:

The Financial Controller at Scandza is a new, exciting and varied position with great development potential.  You will be responsible for ensuring that Scandza carry out financial reporting in accordance with requirements from the authorities and the group, and contribute with analysis, business  understanding and project implementation.

This hands-on role that ensures compliance with established processes and routines across all business areas in Sweden. 

Key responsibilities:

  • Financial controlling, understand the most important financial, commercial and operational drivers in the P&L and be able to communicate this in in a clear, educational, and effective way
  • Responsibility for public reporting, annual accounts and auditing
  • Participate in improvement projects in all parts of the business (finance, IT, sales, marketing, operations, purchasing, etc.)
  • Active involvement in business development
  • Responsibility to further development of financial internal control

Your Profile:

Scandza is looking for a forward-thinking, committed, and ambitious person with a desire to make a difference. You thrive with P&L responsibility and are capable to handle a large and wide range of work tasks and professional challenges. No task is too big, no task too small. 


  • Around 4-6 years of relevant work experience
  • MSc / MBA in accounting, finance or other relevant is an advantage
  • Advanced excel skills and strong interest in excel analysis 
  • Very strong implementation ability and project manager qualities
  • Business understanding and ability to be a close business partner for the commercial organization
  • High degree of integrity, self-motivation and ability to challenge at all levels of the organization
  • A high level of structure and accuracy, but at the same time be problem-solving and efficient in their work
