Food Folk – McDonald’s in the Nordics
Food Folk has only existed since April 2017, but everybody knows the brand that Food Folk owns the rights to. The brand is the worldwide company and brand, McDonald’s. As a Development Licensee Partner Food Folk owns over 430 McDonald’s restaurants in Denmark, Norway, Sweden and Finland with local offices and in total 20 000 employees working in the system. McDonald’s is a franchise business and we work closely with the restaurant owners to create ‘Feel Good Moment’ for our many customers. Finally yet importantly, McDonald’s is a ‘Fun Loving Brand’ and so is Food Folk.
As the new Nordic Sourcing & Category Lead, you will be responsible of a selection of categories across the Nordic Markets. You are expected to develop your categories, by working proactively on supplier selection and using a fact-based decision-making process.
You will report directly to the Supply Chain Director and is expected to manage both internal- and external stakeholder through all levels of the organization. The position will be based in their office in either Stockholm or Copenhagen.
Management & development of assigned categories
In order to excel in the role, the ideal candidate is commercially driven, with a can-do mindset and sound analytical skills. As a person, you are structured and have multi-project experience. Previous experience of managing suppliers- and/or clients across the Nordic or European region is an advantage.
