The Consumer Health Division (CH) offers a balanced portfolio of non-prescription or over-the-counter (OTC) preparations to facilitate personal health management. This portfolio includes global brands such as Aspirin™, Bepanthen™ / Bepanthol™, Berocca™, Canesten™, Clarityn™, Elevit™, Priorin™ and Rennie™.

The role:

Now looking to expand their Nordics & Baltic team, Bayer is offering an experienced professional the opportunity to bring Bayer’s digital presence in-house as their Digital Marketing Lead. Responsible for setting the strategy and executing the digital marketing activation through close collaboration with the marketing, trade and sales teams the position will be integral in driving the growth of Bayer Consumer Health’s brands across the region.
Using consumer journey and data, the role will be responsible for developing and managing content in digital channels to deliver state-of-the-art Owned media such as SEO optimized websites and e-com toolkits. Additional responsibilities include:

  • Build and execute the regional digital strategy, ensuring it is in line with the BCH regional strategy and local brand strategies
  • Identify and lead new innovative types of digital activation and communication
  • Educate and update division team in all new digital skills and services applicable
  • Develop and drive Bayer’s digital HCP engagement strategy and the online shelf visibility of the brands
  • Develop and cultivate the e-commerce channel strategy in collaboration with the commercial team
  • Set relevant metrics for our digital activations and assets and secure effective and actionable insight generation and knowledge transfer across our organization

You will be part of the Nordic and Baltic Consumer Health marketing team, where you on a daily basis will be working in a multi-functional environment within a multi-country organization. Your main internal stakeholders will be the brand managers, trade-marketing managers as well as the local sales teams. You will also work closely with the medical and regulatory teams for scientific and regulatory topics and the IT department and business controller for operational business management. You will serve as the main point of contact for the global and regional Digital Excellence teams and you will report to Head of Marketing, Consumer Health Nordics & Baltics.


To be successful in this role you will have a strong business acumen with the ability to simultaneously focus on delivering added value strategies and content to drive results. You have experience in integrated brand planning and activation with strong know-how about online activation such as SEM, Social Media, Precision targeting, E-commerce and Conversion optimization. Additionally, you are an excellent team player and project leader with superb interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.

Additional qualifications:

  • Master or Bachelor’s degree with preferably Marketing or Business focus
  • Strong digital background with minimum 3-5 years' experience in digital marketing within FMCG and/or OTC industry
  • Strong analytical skills with excellent knowledge of digital marketing metrics
  • Creative and assertive person with strong multi-tasking skills who is adept at liaising with many different stakeholders, internal and external, in a cross-functional and multi-country environment
  • Fluent in Swedish and English, Finnish is a strong plus
  • International Mobility and willingness to build an international career is an asset.
