In order to continue their double-digit growth journey, Interxion is now looking for a new Sales Director for the Nordics.

The Sales Director is responsible of a highly motivated and skilled team of 9 people across the Nordics (Sweden and Denmark). This role has the responsibility of developing and successfully executing the local sales strategy and plans in line with Interxion’s wider commercial strategies. 

The Sales Director has full management authority of the local sales teams, leading, coaching and driving the performance and results of the team. The role is based in Stockholm and you will report to the Nordic Managing Director. You will be part of the Nordic management team.
 

Responsibilities

 

  • Initiate, set and drive the execution of country sales strategy and annual plan, in close collaboration with the Managing Director and Nordic Marketing Manager
  • Drive the achievement of country revenue and bookings targets, as well as strategic sales, account, product and new business development 
  • Direct the provision of revenue, sales related input to country business planning and budgeting, scenario and sensitivity analyses, project evaluations and financing
  • Analyze and drive process improvement/efficiencies for increased ROI
  • Manage strategic partnerships and be involved in the strategic development of large key customers across the Nordics
  • Spokesperson in Swedish media regarding market related news  

Profile


To succeed in the role, you are an inspirational and motivational people´s leader, with strong interpersonal skills that connect well both within and outside of your team and organization. You have strong business and financial acumen with a sound commercial mindset and a customer centric focus. You have strong strategic planning skills within market analysis. 

You are action-oriented and a driver of performance, who secures business targets by using your solution selling- and communication skills. 

In addition, you have the following qualifications:
 

  • Bachelor/Master’ degree, preferably in economics, business administration or marketing 
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience as a sales leader or manager in a consultative selling area, preferably in IT Services/data centre/telco/network environment, including successful track record in sales/market management
  • Proven managerial experience and skills
  • Fluent in Swedish and English
