This is a rare opportunity to join a long-established European manufacturer in the non-food consumer goods sector—known for its commitment to tradition, design, and sustainability. As part of an international group with production facilities in Europe and Asia, the company supplies premium private label and branded products to leading retailers across Europe. Their products are found in millions of households every day.
To further strengthen their presence in the Nordic region, the company is now seeking their first on-the-ground commercial hire in Sweden. You’ll work closely with an experienced international sales team and take full ownership of key customer relationships in the region.

About the Role:
As Sr. Key Account Manager Nordics, you’ll be responsible for managing and expanding relationships with major retail accounts in the region, while identifying new opportunities for growth. This is a remote-based role offering a high degree of autonomy and influence—ideal for a commercially driven professional who thrives in a structured yet entrepreneurial environment.
Until now, the Nordic region has been managed from HQ by the central sales team and through third-party distribution. To further strengthen its market position and ensure long-term success, the company is now investing in local presence – and you will be the first dedicated KAM in the Nordics.
This is a strategic and hands-on role for someone who enjoys working independently, yet values being part of an international team. You’ll work remotely from your home office in Sweden and collaborate closely with your manager and support team based in HQ.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own and drive the commercial agenda across the Nordic region
- Manage and grow long-term partnerships with key retail accounts
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in line with company strategy
- Lead contract negotiations, pricing discussions, and annual agreements
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders across sales support, marketing, and supply chain
- Represent the company at customer meetings, trade fairs, and industry events
Who We’re Looking For:
We’re looking for a commercially skilled and entrepreneurial individual with strong knowledge of the Nordic retail and FMCG environment. You enjoy working independently, take initiative, and know how to build trust-based relationships with retail partners.
Desired Background
- Proven track record in Key Account Management or Sales within FMCG or non-food categories
- Experience working with major retail chains in the Nordic region
- Strong commercial acumen and ability to work autonomously
- Structured, proactive, and self-motivated personality
- Fluent in English and Swedish (other Nordic languages are a plus)
- Based in Stockholm, Sweden, with the ability to travel within the region and occasionally to HQ
- University degree in Business, sales or other relevant higher education
