Customer Insights Manager

In the role as Customer Insights Manager, you will work to ensure holistic Customer Insights in all channels – retail (B2C), foodservice (B2B) and industrial for branded and private label business at Paulig. By combining research, data analysis, and customer understanding you will enable informed commercial and marketing decisions as well as initiatives that maximize sales.

This role can be located in Sweden (Stockholm or Gothenburg), Finland (Helsinki) or the Netherlands (Nieuwegein).

Key responsibilities and tasks

  • Synthesize research results to develop a comprehensive understanding of customer preferences, shopper base, ranging preferences and product requirements
  • Gain insight into market dynamics, including emerging trends and competitive landscapes internationally
  • Utilizes customer knowledge to secure excellence in customer classification/segmentation, as well as guiding product development
  • Provides valuable input for marketing strategies and business planning
  • Conduct market research projects to gather insights about customers, competitors, and industry trends and analyse data from various sources to extract meaningful patterns and trends
  • Manage research agency relationships within area of responsibility

You may have experience from an international environment and enjoys working in a matrix organisation.

Desired skills and qualifications

  • 5-8 years of experience from roles in strategic insight and marketing research of customer, category and shopper insight
  • Preferably holds a university degree in business administration or equivalent
  • Strong strategic and tactical business understanding, skilled in translating customer insights into business opportunities
  • Ability to translate data to insight, and to draw conclusions from multiple sources of information
  • Skilled in structured and pragmatic problem-solving
  • Demonstrated ability as a strong team player with a collaborative approach towards peers and customers
  • Excellent communication and influencing abilities, fluent in English
