Are you a Group Business Controller ready to take on a high-impact role in an ambitious international scale-up? We are partnering with a fast-growing company operating across Europe and North America, with a proven M&A-driven growth strategy — completing 10–15 acquisitions annually and now operating in nine countries. The business has grown rapidly and continues to scale, with a strong financial foundation and a clear strategic vision.

As Head of Group Business Control, you will play a central and business-oriented role in shaping the company’s continued success. This position sits close to operational decision-making, with direct access to executive leadership. You’ll take ownership of the group’s financial planning, performance monitoring, and reporting, while ensuring newly acquired subsidiaries are integrated and managed in line with the company’s strategic objectives.

We are looking for a driven and ambitious individual who sees themselves in a senior leadership role over time. You’ll be based in Stockholm and report directly to the Group CFO.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Planning & Performance Monitoring – Lead and oversee the group-wide budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and strategic alignment. Provide insights and recommendations to support senior management in decision-making.
• Business Intelligence & Process Optimization – Identify reporting and analytics needs across the organization, optimizing BI tools and financial systems to enhance data-driven decision-making.
• Strategic Support & Growth Initiatives – Partner with senior leadership and regional teams to evaluate and track key business initiatives, acquisitions, and expansion efforts.
• Stakeholder Collaboration & Financial Advisory – Act as a key liaison between finance and subsidiary management, ensuring smooth communication and financial alignment across the group.
• Sustainability & Compliance Reporting – Ensure compliance with regulatory and group standards while integrating sustainability metrics into financial planning and reporting.

Qualification & Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in financial planning, analysis, or business controlling, preferably in an international organization.
• Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis methodologies.
• Expertise in business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, QlikView) and ERP systems (e.g., MS D365).
• Familiarity with sustainability reporting frameworks (e.g., CSRD, GRI, SASB, or EU-specific standards).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across regions.
• Fluency in Swedish and English (written and spoken).
