As an independent PortCo with its own board and management structure, OCS is evolving. Our future organization will focus on three categories: Confectionery, Snacks, and Biscuits. This structure aims to enhance cost efficiency, harmonization, and investment in our brands, factories, and expertise.

About the role

This position is responsible for ensuring that Planning and Logistics have a development roadmap for Strategic Development, CAPEX & Master Plans for warehouses, as well as continuous improvements, processes, tools, and techniques. You will collaborate closely with the other Planning & Logistics functions and other key stakeholders from Commercial and Supply Chain departments to align development plans with operational objectives and drive value for the organization. This role manages a team of Developers/Project Managers and reports to the Planning & Logistics Director as part of the OCS Planning & Logistics Management Team. The role is preferably located in Stockholm but we are also open for candidates to be located in Stockholm, Oslo, Helsinki, Tallinn, Copenhagen or Riga.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute improvement projects aligned with Planning and Logistics strategies
  • Act as a subject matter expert in end-to-end Planning & Logistics, including S&OP, warehousing, and distribution
  • Define and oversee Project Management processes within Planning & Logistics
  • Manage stakeholder relationships and engage the COO or other support as needed
  • Identify and prioritize value-creating projects for short- and long-term strategies
  • Lead and develop a team of project managers to enhance operational efficiency and technology development
  • Facilitate workshops and project presentations to maximize sustainable impact
  • Maintain and enhance tools and methods for Planning & Logistics operations
  • Foster a high-performing, collaborative culture while building strong teams

To thrive in this role, you should have a proven track record in leading projects and transformation initiatives in Logistics, Planning, S&OP, and Digitalization. We seek someone skilled in relationship building and collaboration with diverse stakeholders, who can define direction and drive results. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent change management abilities, adapt to organizational needs, and foster a culture of innovation. Strong communication and presentation skills are essential for clearly conveying insights. Additionally, your analytical mindset, financial acumen, and proficiency in data analysis, along with robust process and project management skills, will ensure the efficient execution of strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Supply Chain or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Minimum 5 years of project management experience in Supply Chain, with proven leadership
  • Expertise in at least one Supply Chain area (e.g., Logistics, Planning, S&OP) and ability to drive cross-functional projects
  • Strong understanding of supply chain, logistics, business, and finance principles
  • Extensive experience leading improvement projects, focusing on process definition and project management
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to deliver impactful presentations; international experience is a plus
  • Fluent in English; proficiency in local OCS languages
  • Experience in a multinational environment or matrix responsibilities is advantageous
