An exciting opportunity has arisen for you to join this team as Sales Manager to execute our strategic objectives and deliver on our ambitious targets in our major key accounts across Grocery and DIY Multiples; including Tesco, Morrisons, B&Q and Homebase.

Your job


  • Over-deliver against customer commercial targets while respecting budget and strategic guidelines.
  • Develop ambitious Joint Business Plans with key accounts to exceed business growth targets, and see through to delivery.
  • Establish and maintain strong, influential and sustainable relationships with key customers.
  • Take a lead in proposing and acquiring new national accounts business.
  • Become an ‘expert’ of the customers and category.
  • Exceed expectations and make things happen. Work closely with internal stakeholders to provide market-leading solutions to our customers.
  • Produce & update rolling annual forecasts by account.
  • Work alongside Category Management to deliver against ‘shelf excellence’ targets and maximise breadth & depth of distribution.
  • Evaluate promotional activity to ensure ROI and achievement of financial/strategic objectives.

Profile - must have


  • Demonstrable success in National Account Management roles within FMCG
  • Proven track record in achieving success in negotiations with major national accounts
  • Conversant with the principles of brand marketing, category management, & supply chain management
  • A strategic thinker with strengths in analysis, planning and forecasting
  • High level of emotional intelligence
  • P&L management experience
  • Excellent communication skills (oral and written) & presentation skills
  • Educated to Bachelor’s degree level
  • Fully conversant with MS Office
