About the position

 

In order to stimulate further organizational growth, we are currently looking for a Business Project Manager. Within the position you will work closely with the Regional Director Europe North for the GARDENA division. 

Tasks & Responsibilities

 

The BPM plays a key role in the regional organization Europe North.

  • Responsible for supporting the long-term growth strategy and drives various projects.
  • Regional coordination, development &  implementation, pricing revenue follow-up and data analysis are key areas.  
  • Support company’s commercial strategy & plan objectives for the channel 
  • Development of a wide network in the international organization, within the different disciplines such as; product categories, logistics and different marketing areas.
  • Work closely with the regional director & country managers on a daily basis.
  • Responsible for definition of objectives, timeline and frame in different business projects. 
  • Prepare and follow up on the business case in the major projects (timeline, resources, scope and economy). 
  • Continuous communication in the projects to business partners and stakeholders. 
  • Identify and champion continuous improvement in assigned portfolio including new business and growth opportunities and new ways to better meet customer needs. 
  • Responsible for ensuring consistent, relevant, high quality communication for the Gardena brand across all channels within the group towards country managers as well as towards all internal stakeholders. 

Candidate Requirements

 

  • Completed relevant Masters or Bachelor degree (WO).
  • 4-6 years of experience in project management or other relevant commercial / communication role.
  • Leadership experience (preferably regional experience).
  • Sales or Category Management experience in B2B / B2C environment is an advantage. 
  • Fluent in English (preferably also additional languages – Dutch & German).
  • Able to use all available market and company insights.
  • Previous experience with change management and strong experience with project management.
  • Outstanding IT skills (like; Microsoft office-tools).
  • Understanding of the Retail / OOH landscape is an advantage. 
  • The ability to analyse complex data and make sound commercial strategy based on that analysis.
  • Strong communication, presentation, interpersonal and strong stakeholder management skills. 
  • Comfortable with general financial and legal contractual regulations and terminology.
  • Able to inspire a performance culture in the team by creating an environment that doesn’t settle for second best.
