About the Role
GreenBlue is seeking a results-driven Export Manager to lead the growth and management of the distributor network across Europe. The primary focus of this role is to drive increased profitability through the effective management of distributor relationships and revenue generation. The successful candidate will have a keen eye for identifying opportunities to optimise profitability, drive invoiced revenue growth, and ensure distributors meet their targets. The role also involves collaborating with internal teams and working hands-on with distributors to achieve these goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Profitability & Revenue Growth: Focus on driving increased profitability by managing distributor relationships that generate strong margin revenue. Optimise the existing distributor network across Europe and the Middle East to achieve sustainable revenue growth
- Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with Heads of Department (HOD) to provide comprehensive support to distributors, including marketing, business development, operations and sales to align distributor operations with profitability goals and optimise cost efficiency
- Distributor Agreements & Facilitation: Lead the negotiation, drafting, and implementation of distributor agreements, ensuring they are structured to enhance profitability for both the company and distributors. Track and progress distributor performance against targets and facilitate distributor to achieve and exceed targets set
- Market Engagement & Commercial Opportunities: Actively engage with distributors in the marketplace to identify and capitalise on commercial opportunities. Feed market insights to the senior management team to action and evaluate opportunities for profit optimisation
- Forecasting & Strategic Profit Growth: Collaborate with senior management to forecast profitability and revenue growth
About You
- Proven Export Management Experience: A demonstrated ability to manage distributor networks. Proven success in driving profitability and increasing margins, particularly in European market
- Commercial Acumen & Profitability Focus: Strong business acumen with a keen focus on driving profitability through strategic decisions and optimisation of distributor networks. Experience in identifying, evaluating, and capitalising on strong-margin opportunities
- Negotiation & Relationship Management: Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with experience in structuring distributor agreements that maximise profitability. Proven ability to manage relationships, supporting distributors to meet performance and profitability targets
- Collaborative & Resilient Approach: Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to support distributors in achieving strong growth goals. Resilience in addressing difficult conversations and performance issues, with a focus on achieving mutually beneficial solutions that drive growth
- Travel Flexibility & Market Knowledge: Willingness to travel to engage with distributors and develop relationships in key markets. Strong knowledge of European market dynamics, with fluency in English; additional language skills are an advantage
