Business Unit Director M/F

Our client, AUGUST STORCK KG, German HQ based company which exists for more than 100 years, is a sweet confectionary business with major brands like Werther’s Original / Toffifee / Knoppers, loved and cherished in over 100 countries.

Storck France is looking for a Business Unit Director (M/F).
 
Main responsibilities
 

  • Successfully preparing and introducing Storck brands on the French retail market
  • Actively making and implementing business plans
  • Structured analysis of the market
  • Planning of the short- and long-term business (volume) potential
  • Setting up the Storck office
  • Leading, coaching and motivating the local team
  • Contact with the distributor
  • Creating and operational implementation of the Sales & Marketing strategies
  • Expanding the current business presence and growing market position of Storck
  • Support of the daily operational business
  • Handling an own account together with assistant
  • Strict budget control
  • Aligning with internal departments in Germany
  • Optimizing synergies with other countries
 
Profile
 
  • Long-term track record in sales/marketing for the entire French market
  • Experience in the French FMCG market, preferably in confectionary
  • Excellent knowledge of the French trade and account structure
  • Experience in business development and project management is preferred
  • Work experience in Germany and/or in a German organization would be an advantage
 
Qualifications
 
  • Master in economic or comparable academic education
  • Fluent French and English, both written and spoken
  • German would be an advantage
