This is a unique opportunity to join the Business Finance team in Novozymes and from day one be responsible for helping their business to drive value creation by delivering superior business insights and integrated performance perspectives to senior management and their Supply Chain organization. This includes preparing performance reporting, conducting review meetings, supporting the budget/forecast processes, and developing financial models. Furthermore, you will prepare ad-hoc analysis and participate in projects both on local and global level.

In this role you’ll make an impact by:

Taking a ‘CFO mindset’ and working closely with Supply Chain organization to drive strategic business improvements and support their Value Steering. You must have an ambition to be a trusted advisor and know how to work through others to guide them and get the information you need. Your responsibilities and activities are broad-ranging and can include:

• Deliver high-quality and valuable performance insights, perspectives, and recommendations. Help to prioritize to provide the most impact,
• Support sound financial planning and decisions with an end-to-end value chain focus
• Business controlling primarily on a strategic and tactical level for the area you support.
• Business reviews, cost budgeting, forecasting and business case evaluation for designated business function.
• Participate in continuous development and optimization of financial processes and tools
• Take lead or participate in specific cross functional tasks, e.g. gross margin analysis or review of full manufacturing cost

Relevant experience:

• University degree in business administration, finance, or economics with good academic track record
• +2 years of experience from a similar role or area (e.g., finance, management consulting or similar) with a proficient financial toolbox
• Great IT skills including solid knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, Business Intelligence and SAP
• Experience with manufacturing finance is an advantage but not a requirement.
• Team player with a proactive and outgoing personality which helps you build good relationships at all levels of the organization.
• Structured individual with a good overview and able to handle several tasks simultaneously without losing your eye for details.
• Proficiency with financial numbers and able to communicate this to stakeholders at all corporate levels
