As Paper Sourcing Specialist you will become part of a dynamic organization with a professional but also casual approach, flat hierarchies and short decision paths. You will become part of the European Procurement team and report to the European Head of Procurement. 
 

The role

• Understand the recycled paper market across Europe and stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments.
• Participate in paper tender and negotiations, ensuring that the company receives the best possible value for money.
• Develop and implement a sourcing strategy for Hartmann Europe, including identifying potential new suppliers and building relationships with existing ones.
• Work closely with the plants to ensure the production paper mix meets the company's quality and sustainability standards.
• Participate in optimizing projects around paper usage, such as reducing waste and increasing efficiency. 

Requirements

• Education in supply chain management, business administration, engineering or a related field.
• 5+ years of relevant experience, ideally from a production company where paper is a key raw material.
• Insights into alternative sustainable paper sources.
• The ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent in English
