For the last five years Matas has been through an incredible digital transformation. Now they are looking towards the next horizon, where the big bet on Health will be one of the most important steps for digital growth. Matas wants to challenge the way Health is done in Denmark today – going from a sickness system to a wellness system and they want to offer Danish women Health in a new way, focused on a holistic wellbeing.
Consequently, we are now looking to bring on an driven and entrepreneurial Business Development Manager to help define what that means and how to get there as a team.
As a Business Development Manager for Health, you will be responsible for identifying key growth levers, new categories to play in, and partnerships to bring expertise and credibility. As part of the Digital Health team, you will lead and collaborate with cross-functional project teams such as; Commercial, eCommerce and Marketing. You will also be a key link to the online pure players, Firtal (Helsebixen, Jala-Helsekost etc), and our partner Webapoteket.
The role & key drivers for success
As part of the job you are comfortable with being a strategic sparring partner and defining the ambitious 3-year plan, while also being able to deep-dive in the customer and sales data to understand commercial opportunities or customer pain points.
You will be identifying new wellness trends from abroad and commercialize those into concepts that would result in ‘Health the Matas way’. In close collaboration with the commercial team, you will identify the brands which Matas will be selling through all channels and bring those alive by inspiring and guiding content in co-lab with Marketing, Media and the Loyalty team.
