Metsä Tissue is looking for a Brand Manager to drive brand strategies and ensure profitable growth in these markets. You’ll collaborate closely with sales teams to ensure our brands are locally relevant and aligned with growth goals. This role can be based in Oslo or Copenhagen, and some travelling is required.
What You Will Be Doing
Your role will be integral in shaping our competitive edge in Denmark and Norway. You will analyse market data and brand performance, using your local insights to implement central marketing strategies to your countries and introduce ideas that keep our brands relevant in your markets. Your local country insights will be consolidated to annual European marketing plans, that you together with your colleagues in other markets will implement and drive. With the consumer in focus, you will maximize the brand portfolio value in your markets by optimizing marketing planning and execution. Together with the local sales teams, you will secure local relevancy and support local growth targets.

Who are you?
To thrive in this role, you will need to bring a mix of strategic thinking and hands-on execution skills. We are looking for someone with strong brand management expertise and a solid understanding of 360-degree marketing. Your high commercial understanding will help you navigate business challenges, and you have experience in working very close to business. Your high project management skills and eye for details will keep initiatives on track. You have a strong interest towards sustainability, ready to incorporate it in everything you do. You are proactive, reliable, and organized, ready to live the Metsä Tissue values.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in relevant field, such as marketing, business, economics
- 3-5 years’ experience in FMCG brand marketing
- High commercial understanding: Sales experience is an asset
- Good knowledge of sustainability is an asset
- Experience working together with media, digital and PR agencies
- Fluency in a Scandinavian language, and strong verbal and written skills in English
- Strong analytical skills in relevant tools
