About the Role
The Field Service Executive & Depot Inspector plays a crucial role in monitoring asset usage, improving collection and recovery rates, and ensuring depot operations comply with subcontractor contracts and SHEQ policies. Responsibilities
Asset & Inventory Management:
- Conduct regular visits to drop points and customer sites to monitor pallet use and recovery.
- Perform inventory audits at depots, manufacturers, and customers.
- Track and analyse asset losses, ensuring customers declare their pallet movements properly.
- Report on inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
Depot & Field Service Operations:
- Ensure depot operations comply with contractual agreements and SHEQ standards.
- Visit depots regularly to check pallet quality, stock reliability, and productivity.
- Set up and follow through on action plans for depots based on audits and performance evaluations.
- Handle customer complaints related to pallet quality and coordinate corrective actions.
Customer & Stakeholder Alignment:
- Serve as the on-the-ground representative for LPR’s operations in the Nordics.
- Align with customers and haulers to ensure smooth pickup and return processes.
- Work closely with the Business Development Manager in Denmark and the German team to coordinate activities and ensure operational efficiency.
Requirements
- Vocational education or equivalent qualification in logistics.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in logistics or retail.
- Ability to travel as required.
- Proactive and self-sufficient: Able to work independently, take initiative, and drive tasks forward without constant supervision.
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills: Capable of engaging with customers, haulers, and internal teams while effectively identifying and addressing operational challenges.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and a Scandinavian language.
