The Role

As a Category Manager at HARIBO, you will have the opportunity to make a true business impact and drive growth for our company. Your role will involve planning and executing strategies to deliver volume, value, and market share growth in collaboration with your local market Finland. 
Based at our Nordic Head office in Vallensbaek near Copenhagen or our office in Finland - Vantaa, you will report directly to the Team Manager - Category Management Nordics..
 

Mix that awaits you

  • Collaborate with Nordic managers on strategic tasks, including business reviews, reports, KPI dashboards, analyses, and presentations for Nordic and global meetings.
  • Develop channel strategies and tools, such as price-pack-channel projects and channel growth plans, in collaboration with the Finnish sales team.
  • Conduct category analysis to lay the foundation for our innovation pipeline, projects, and assortment strategy.
  • Provide analytic inputs and create presentation materials for our retail customers, supporting our Key Account Managers.
  • Set the direction for the media mix and ensure strong execution of our marketing mix.
  • Monitor and evaluate market development (brand, product and competition. 

Ingredients that you bring with you

  • MSc (Cand. Merc) / B.Com. (HD part 2) or equivalent 
  • Min. 3 years of relevant experience from FMCG, and of this minimum 1 years in Category Management
  • Fluency in Finnish and in English (written and oral)
  • Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint with advanced skills
  • Experienced in working with POS data (Kesko and SOK), GfK data and/or other relevant shopper insights data sources
  • Strong problem-solving and complex analysis skills
  • Commercial and analytical approach to projects, with a creative and idea driven mind-set
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • Experience working with Finnish retailers is an advantage (not required)
  • Highly motivated and engaged individual
