The Responsibilities:

Identifies and develops new business opportunities and leads the business expansion of the company presence in Europe. Participates and contributes to the definition of the LPR commercial strategy and business objectives to optimize the growth, market share and margins of LPR.  Applies and implements the commercial strategy defined by the company for the assigned global prospect customers and key accounts.
You will join a team and work in conjunction with various contacts in all subsidiaries (12 countries).

Key responsibilities: 

1. Developing brand awareness and new business opportunities               
 In alignment with LPR´s commercial strategy and sales policy identifies European business opportunities, builds and maintains successful relationships with prospects, existing and past clients.

  • Identify, develop and manage strategic partnerships to grow business
  • Contribute to roll-out the marketing plan to create brand awareness to prospects.
  • Participate in industry trade shows, events, etc…
  • Monitor and analyses market and industry trends for the assigned customer accounts and translates this into (proposals for) commercial actions.
  • Report on the KPI and agreed business results
2. Management of Commercial proposals and Negotiating contracts            
Lead the negotiation for the commercial conditions and finalizes the contract for the assigned European customer accounts
  • Coordinate with LPR sales teams to develop the commercial proposal with alignment to the LPR´s Commercial Policy and delegation scheme
  • Submit and negotiate the commercial terms with the customer
  • Manage the contract formalisation
3. Coordinate the roll-out with countries
Lead the new contract customer implementation with Country Commercial managers and other relevant LPR stakeholder (EKAM, etc.)
  • Communicates contract terms to all LPR´s relevant stakeholders and ensures that the business units are implementing the agreed technical and commercial conditions
  • Resolves escalations and where necessary, initiates pro-active corrective measures and manage the timely execution of contract implementation
  • Successfully hands over the new contract to the Account Management Team
4. Manage existing global key account contracts
Lead or assist in the negotiation for the renewal of contracts for the assigned global key accounts, ensuring involvement of relevant internal parties, following LPR´s commercial strategy, sales policy and delegation scheme
  • Develops and manages the customer relationship in order to create a strong partnership, covering all the customer commercial and operational needs, for the assigned global key accounts
  • Leads the negotiation for the commercial conditions and finalizes the renewal of the contract for the assigned global key accounts

Your Profile:

  • Academic master’s degree, preferably business related
  • Around 10 years of proven experience in a commercial B2B activity preferably in a matrix environment .
  • FMGC / Logistics / Retail sector experience is a plus
  • Proficient in English & German. Other languages proficiency are a plus
  • Fluent in the local language in which country the function resides.
  • You are sensitive to environmental issues.
  • Your analytical qualities, your curiosity and your interpersonal skills will be assets to succeed in your missions.
  • Frecuent travel is expected.
