Our Client

The integrated EHS Innovation & Processes department provides state-of-the-art solutions and services for Environment, Health, and Safety Management globally. Supporting the entire supply chain regarding Product Safety and Dangerous Goods (hazardous materials) regulations and requirements, the department manages a highly automated and globally harmonized SAP EHS system, including end-to-end safety data sheet (SDS) management.
In order to maintain excellent service quality and drive innovation of this central function, we are recruiting for an independent



To closely work with internal customers to autonomously develop and implement projects and execute individual change requests by leveraging technical skills provided through external service providers, as applicable. This includes the implementation of appropriate systems enhancements and global solutions to meet internal/external customer requirements.
The Manager EHS Innovation & Processes manages the Raw Material Data Maintenance process from introduction to report creation/safety data sheet authoring and is responsible for Product Safety and Stewardship, including global Registration/Notification/Inventories, Dangerous Goods Management, Labelling and Hazardous Substance Management. Providing first level support on global scale, the EHS Manager will also act as IT Coordinator for allocated technical issues and service requests.




  • University degree in Chemical Sciences or in another relevant discipline with adequate years of work experience
  • At least 3 years of direct experience with SAP EHS systems or significant years of relevant work experience related to Product Safety in an EHS system environment
  • Prior work experience within a highly matrixed, international business environment; experience in the flavor and/or fragrance industry is an asset
  • Expert knowledge regarding the use of functionality within SAP EHS and adjacent modules
  • Excellent IT skills, particularly SAP and Microsoft Office
  • Good understanding and knowledge of IT processes, distinct conceptual thinking
  • Good knowledge in Product Safety, Specification Management, Dangerous Goods Management and Substance Volume Tracking
  • Basic knowledge in Global Label Management (GLM) or similar label systems
  • Excellent communication skills across all levels of the organization; cultural awareness
  • Proven ability to consult business partners to find suitable and sustainable solutions meeting customer demands
  • Proven ability to deliver results within tight timelines, both independently and working with cross-functional, interdisciplinary project teams
  • Analytical and well-organized working style; demonstrated customer orientation and flexibility to adapt to changing priorities
  • Professional proficiency in English, both verbal and written; additional language skills (e.g., German) considered beneficial
