The Position :

This role will be responsible for a brand launched by Unilever in 1972 and is now present across EMEA with ambitions to continuously grow double digit and make significant changes to the established snacking world. The Marketing Manager BiFi EMEA will be part of the Jack Link’s EMEA Marketing leadership team and head up the iconic BiFi snacking brand. Key objective of the role is to deliver growth via brand development, outstanding communication, strong innovation and world class implementation across the key markets of Germany and Benelux. Purpose of the Job:
Develop the marketing strategy and deliver the initiatives that enable double digit growth year on year for the brand BiFi
 

Key accountabilities:

• Leading the marketing strategy for BiFi to deliver long-term double-digit growth, focusing on DACH and Benelux regions.
• Deliver on a 3-year Total Brand plan, an annual Marketing plan and a country specific plan.
• Ownership of the brand strategy, focusing on brand development, communication development and implementation, innovation strategy and implementation whilst aligning with Category-, Trade- and Shopper Marketing teams.
• Being a key member of the Marketing Leadership team (MLT) to develop the marketing agenda across the company (EMEA and Globally).
• Being a key member of the Commercial Leadership Team (CLT) to ensure delivery of the commercial agenda.
• Co-ordinate BiFi team resources with the cross functional Country Business Teams (CBT) and being responsible for delivery of projects and specific regional commercial targets.
• Leading the BiFi marketing team (1 SBM DE, 1 JBM DE, 1 BM BNL, 1 JBM BE), managing resources and developing the team members.
• Embracing Jack Link’s culture, incorporating its values into everyday work life, acting as a culture ambassador and brand steward
 

Experience required:

• A minimum of 15 years (of which at least 3 - 5 years in a leadership position) in FMCG marketing, with a focus on strategic brand and innovation development, communication, portfolio management and new product implementation.
• Delivering commercial results via strong brand building, both in established categories and in developing new categories.
• Increasing brand penetration.
• Developing marketing strategies covering both long-term brand building initiatives and shorter-term sales driving initiatives.
• Innovation strategy and implementing ambitious brand stretch initiatives.
• Developing and delivering ATL effective and efficient campaigns across multiple media channels, including digital.
• Project management and cross functional team leadership experience with a focus on commercial team collaboration.
• Team leadership and people development experience.
• Market knowledge of the German and Benelux FMCG market.
• Experience in food and drinks categories.
