About the role

In this role you will be responsible for the growth of the team sport and sport retail category towards a variety of sales channels across international markets and report to the CCO. 

Key responsibilities 

  • Strategic and tactical leadership of the Group Sales team, while providing guidance, support, and follow-up to Country Managers and Sales Managers in key markets.
  • Developing and implementing international Go-To-Market & Sales strategies with a focus on the largest key accounts in Europe.
  • Growing and strengthening partnerships with key retailers as Intersport, Sport2000, Zalando and Boozt - as well as establishing new customer relationships.
  • Ensuring commercial excellence across channels and markets to support the overall strategy.
  • Participating in International & local Key account meetings, Trade Fairs & events.
  • Close collaboration with stakeholders in hummel.

Qualifications

  • Solid experience from sport retail and/or team sport in Europe.
  • Experience from strategic key account management and documented sales growth of international accounts.
  • Experience in building partnerships. An extensive network within the international sports industry is an advantage.
  • Strategic person who loves to take a plan to action and follow this up.
  • Experience from an international matrix organization managing several stakeholders.
  • Possesses an entrepreneurial spirit with a big ambition to further develop hummel’s sales effort and strategic key account management.
  • Self-driven and has a positive impact on people through a collaborative approach.
  • Preferred language skills are English and German. 
  • Possesses a people-first mindset and takes responsibility to build and maintain relationships.
