In order to portray a real representation of the culture here at Nigel Wright, we asked some of our Recruitment Consultants to answer a series of questions about their careers and about working at Nigel Wright. Following a recent promotion to Senior Consultant, Felix Woitschig shares how Nigel Wright has supported him in his career development, what he enjoys most about working for us, how we are different compared to other companies, and his advice to anyone considering joining our team.
I joined Nigel Wright as a working student, with the idea of demonstrating and developing my already gained recruiting skills in an international and professional environment. From day one, I felt that my efforts were appreciated by all colleagues and Nigel Wright also believed in me, so that I was able to start a career within recruiting. Through the very close and mentor-like cooperation with my manager and clear feedback, I was able to achieve my own successes within Nigel Wright very quickly, which resulted in my promotion to Senior Consultant. Here at Nigel Wright, each consultant has a specialisation within a particular industry. Having been a live and studio musician for many years, I know the industry very well, so I have successfully started to build success in recruiting within this industry, which was new to Nigel Wright at the time. Today we are the recruitment partner for some internationally leading manufacturers of musical instruments. This development and the trust Nigel Wright gave me, makes me proud.
Personally, I particularly appreciate the diversity of the different characters and the incredibly good networking of our offices across Europe. In my eyes, everyone is valued and supported as an individual. Through frequent pan-European project cooperation and an international training process, we all stay very well connected with all our European colleagues and we are also serve our clients as one company in international projects.
We are clearly differentiated by our deep understanding of the processes, dynamics and positions within the consumer goods industry. Our focus in this area means that we are perceived as experts by our clients and candidates. Furthermore, we see the relationship with our candidates as enormously important. Not only client satisfaction but also candidate satisfaction are fixed metrics in our corporate philosophy.
With Nigel Wright, it is possible to be successful if you are honest, reliable and hard-working. Furthermore, you should always question your abilities, admit your faults and challenge yourself to become better.
