Why Are We Recruiting?

Operating from Newcastle, Copenhagen, Paris and London, Nigel Wright is fast becoming a major international player in recruitment.  This means we need to constantly recruit new consultants to take on new business in new markets.

What Are We Looking For?

We are currently recruiting in three distinct areas, Entry level, Experienced hire level and International level.

Entry Level

We are looking for determined, driven individuals who are degree qualified or equivalent with a track record of success within a high quality organisation. Recruitment experience is not essential but applicants must have proven aptitude in building relationships and delivering results. Our consultants require excellent communication skill alongside a competitive and resilient nature. Suitable applicants will be good at handling multiple priorities, gregarious and risk oriented.

Experienced Level

In the competitive recruitment market Nigel Wright have managed to differentiate themselves by attracting consultants who have hands on experience of the industry and roles they recruit into. A number of our Finance division are ACA qualified, our Food and Drink division has ex buyers amongst its ranks. We welcome applications from individuals interested in changing careers, prior knowledge of recruitment is not required.

Ideal candidates should be:

  • Degree qualified (or equivalent) with relevant industry experience
  • Commercially orientated with the ability to act decisively
  • Highly competitive, with a track record of success within a high quality organisation
  • Skilled at developing strong networks
  • Articulate, intelligent and capable of influencing key decision makers
  • Passionate about business

International Level

With our rapid international expansion we are now looking to hire native language speakers both at graduate qualified (or equivalent) and experienced hire level. We are currently operating in Europe and so our priority is people with the ability to conduct business in the following languages: French, German, Dutch, Flemish, Spanish, Italian, Norwegian, Swedish and Danish.

What Will The Role Entail?

Dependent on your level of experience, the role will encompass a range of recruitment activities from candidate sourcing and interviewing, through to business development and the ongoing management of client and candidate relationships and assignments.

You will sell high value recruitment consultancy solutions to directors in multi-national, plc and large independent organisations. Our consultants need to be able to understand business situations very quickly and must be expert in finding solutions, to be good at this you need a genuine interest for what makes a business tick.

Working for Nigel Wright, you will need to be an expert in people as well, you will deal with the board room and the shop floor, often in the same day. A good consultant needs to ask the right questions, draw the right conclusions and make the right decisions. We structure our business with development in mind.
