About Isos Housing Group
Isos Housing Group is a leading provider of affordable housing in the North East. Working with our partners we make a difference by creating thriving urban and rural communities across the North East of England.
Isos Housing Group (Isos) was created in 2005 to compete with larger multi-regional and national Registered Social Landlords in the North East. Since then much has been achieved. Founding members Milecastle Housing and Nomad E5 were joined in 2007 by Castle Morpeth Housing. More recently we have expanded further to include development companies Isos Developments Ltd and Next level Developments.
We have been successful but we want to keep on improving and have exciting plans for the future. During 2007 we developed over 200 new homes at a cost of £22million, with a further 270 homes currently in development. Our latest development is the launch of Isos Property Services, a division which will provide planned and reactive maintenance and heating servicing across the group.
All of these changes will add a new dimension to our work - particularly in the areas of shared ownership and development - and brings us much closer to our aim of owning and managing 15-20,000 homes by 2014, making us the one of the largest, most cost effective and high performing RSL Groups in the North East.
